1. Who processes your data

We operate the 6IX Club padel club and the website 6ixclub.com.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to do so.

2. What data we process and why

2.1 Newsletter signup

Data: your email address, plus the date, time and technical details of your consent so that we can demonstrate it was given.

Purpose: sending news about 6IX Club, our opening, offers and events.

Legal basis: your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Retention: until you withdraw your consent, and no longer than 5 years from the date it was given. See section 5. Before that period expires we will ask whether you wish to keep receiving our news; if you confirm, the period starts again.

Providing your email is voluntary. Without it we cannot send you news, but this has no effect on your ability to use our website or book a court.

2.2 Website operation and security

Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, date and time of access, pages visited. This data is recorded automatically in server logs.

Purpose: keeping the website functional and secure, detecting attacks and errors.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Retention: for as long as our hosting provider retains server logs.

2.3 Instagram content

We display our Instagram posts on the website using the Behold service. When that part of the page loads, your IP address and browser details are shared with the service provider.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in presenting the club.

2.4 Cookies

Our website does not use analytics or marketing cookies and does not track your behaviour across websites. We only use technical storage necessary for the site to work, such as remembering your language preference. This is stored in your browser and is not shared with anyone.

3. Who we share data with

We do not share your data with anyone for their own purposes. We do use suppliers who provide the technical infrastructure for our website and email. They process data solely on our instructions and are bound by a data processing agreement.

We may also be required to disclose data to public authorities where the law obliges us to do so.

4. Transfers outside the European Union

Some of our suppliers are based in the United States. Personal data is transferred there on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework), or on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

5. Your rights

In relation to your personal data you have the right to:

• Access — ask what data we hold about you and request a copy.
• Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected.
• Erasure — have your data deleted in the cases set out by law.
• Restriction of processing — ask us to temporarily stop using your data.
• Data portability — receive the data you gave us based on consent in a machine-readable format, or have it transferred to another controller.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without giving a reason and without any detriment. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it. You can withdraw consent using the unsubscribe link in every email we send, or by writing to info@6ixclub.com.

If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:

6. Automated decision-making

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy in future, for example when we start using a new service. The current version is always available on this page. We will notify you by email of any substantial changes.
